From the Archives: Cornerstone laying at St. Thomas the Apostle, 1939

The cornerstone laying ceremony for St. Thomas the Apostle Church and School in Bloomfield took place on August 6, 1939. While the church was under construction, Mass was celebrated on the site in a large tent that could accommodate up to 500 people.
