Podcasts offer insight to Our Lady of Fatima

The Office for Evangelization has launched two informative podcasts titled “Dear Newark, we have a Mother!” and “Our Lady’s Mantle of Light and Our Responsibility” to commemorate the Archdiocese hosting one of the Pilgrim Statues of Our Lady of Fatima.

From April 28 to May 31, Our Lady of Fatima, a symbol of peace and hope, will visit more than a dozen parishes within the Archdiocese of Newark, continuing its mission that began in 1947 to bring comfort to people all around the world.

In the two Heart of the Ark podcasts, Jennifer Behnke, the Associate Director of Evangelization, interviews Ricardo Casimiro, the co-leader of the Pilgrim statue’s pilgrimage and a campus minister at Montclair State University. Together, they delve into the significance of the message of Fatima, the apparitions, and the tour of the Pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima across the Archdiocese of Newark happening this May.

Casimiro has visited Portugal’s Shrine of Fatima 40 times as part of his studies on Our Lady. He is renowned for his captivating and dynamic speaking style, and frequently delivers lectures with a focus on the message of Fatima. In addition, Ricardo has created numerous television productions that delve into the biblical roots of Catholicism and theology. Drawing on more than two decades of leadership, ministry, and teaching expertise, he has a wealth of experience in catechetics and pastoral theology.
