From the Archives: Sisters Become U.S. Citizens, 1952
Two Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace smile as they are sworn in as citizens of the United States by Hudson County Judge John Drewen on May 22, 1952. Sr. M. Baptista and Sr. M. Dorothy, both originally from Ireland, worked at St. Joseph’s Home in Jersey City.
