Parish liturgies, prayer services to mark 25th anniversary of 9/11

Friday, Sept. 11 will mark the 25th anniversary of the attacks on New York City and Washington, D.C., and the crash of Flight 93 in a Pennsylvania field.

Across the Archdiocese of Newark, parishes will hold special 25th anniversary liturgies, prayer services, and other events to remember 9/11 victims, their families, first responders, and survivors of the attacks. Many parishes will also participate in civic memorials in their towns.
