From the Archives: First Priest Ordained from Queen of Angels Parish, 1960

Rev. Donald Gerard Potts, O.S.C., the first member of Queen of Angels Parish in Newark to be ordained a priest, was ordained on May 28, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a member of the Crosier Order. He celebrated his first Mass at St. Peter’s in Newark, with Rev. Thomas G. Carey of Queen of Angels serving as archpriest.
