From the Archives: Hispanic Heritage Month, 1966

Young women representing four Latin-American nations helped decorate the statue of Our Lady of Charity, patroness of Cuba, at a feast sponsored by St. Joseph’s Church, Newark, in September 1966. St. Joseph’s was later renamed Immaculate Heart of Mary. Left to right: Rev.
