From the Archives: Deaf History Month, 1962

Rev. John P. Hourihan narrates the Stations of the Cross in sign language at St. Bridget’s in Newark in March 1962. The deaf parishioners become so engaged in the devotion that they often follow the priest with similar movements and expressions.
