Clergy announcements for December 2023

Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., announced the following appointments for December: 

PASTORS

Father Jimson Varghese, SDV has been appointed pastor of Saint Matthew Parish, Ridgefield, effective Nov. 22, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2030.

PASTOR RENEWALS

Msgr. Michael A. Andreano has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Parish, Hoboken, effective immediately and ending on June 30, 2030.

RESIDENCE

Father Andrew Ikedichi Njoku has been assigned residence at Saint Valentine Parish, Bloomfield, effective Nov. 20, 2023, while remaining chaplain at Mountainside Hospital, Montclair.

Father Jesus Carlo L. Merino has been assigned residence at Immaculate Conception Seminary, South Orange, effective Dec. 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2024, while remaining pastor at Little Flower Parish, Berkeley Heights.
