The harmony of faith and science

On Thursday May 16 at 7:30 PM, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains will be sponsoring a talk on Zoom to discuss the harmony of faith and science. Many people keep themselves from the church owing to a notion of disharmony between faith and science. This talk seeks to encourage re-consideration of that notion and to foster further study. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Stephen Barr – theoretical physicist and President of the Society of Catholic Scientists – who has a special interest in dispelling the idea that faith and science are at odds with one other. Dr. Barr gives a wonderful talk; you will not be disappointed. There is no cost for this event.
