Priests of the Archdiocese of Newark celebrate 2025 Jubilees
The Archdiocese of Newark is pleased to recognize 49 of its priests who are celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2025. Together, these men have 2,390 years of service to the Lord and His people.
In a recent award-winning essay, a young Catholic school student considered what “the world (would) be like if there were no priests to guide, give, or comfort us?” Calling the Roman Catholic priesthood “a light in time of crisis,” the student pointed out how priests not only help us to judge right from wrong but also remind us “how to live with love, respect, and honesty” through their words and actions.
“Priests change lives and entire communities, shaping the world into a better place,” the essay concluded.
We are grateful for these men and for all the clergy in the Archdiocese of Newark who have dedicated their lives to following in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus, bringing His light and life to the world.
