Diaconate Ordination
On Sunday, May 17, Josue Daniel Betancourt will be ordained by Auxiliary Bishop Manuel A. Cruz at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ.
Betancourt is currently a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Newark. Over the next year, he will serve in an archdiocesan parish proclaiming the Gospel, assisting at Mass and carrying out works of charity as part of his diaconal ministry. He is expected to be ordained to the priesthood in 2027.
