From the Archives: Italian-American Heritage Month in 1973

Over 100 men carry the “Giglio”, a 35-foot tall tower honoring St. Anthony, at the Festival of St. Anthony at North Hudson Park in North Bergen, 1973. The tower was topped not only with a statute of St. Anthony, but with ten members of the band who were carried along with the 2.5 ton structure.
