Seminarians instituted as Acolytes
On Sunday, Oct. 22, six seminarians from the Archdiocese of Newark were instituted as Acolytes by Bishop Manuel Cruz as they continue on the path to priesthood. Through the Rite of Institution of Acolyte, the seminarians are appointed to assist a deacon and serve the priest in the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of Mass.
The seminarians who attend Seton Hall Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology are: Alan de Almeida, Michael Bollinger, Jose Miguel Serafini Careaga, Konrad Kosiek, Michael Anthony Oasheim, and Raymond Francis Walsh.
Please keep these men in your prayers as they follow God’s calling towards the Priesthood of Jesus Christ.
