Class is in session! Archdiocesan students head back to school (Photos)

With the conclusion of Labor Day on Monday, summer vacations ended and the excitement of Back to School Week began. All around the Archdiocese of Newark, thousands of Catholic school students returned to the classroom with smiles on their faces and anticipation for the year to come.

“We all have a busy and exciting academic year ahead of us,” said Father Stephen Fichter, Vicar of Education for the Archdiocese of Newark, in a recent column. “Whether student, educator, or administrator, let us all bring our best efforts to the classroom to let wisdom and kindness mold our futures.”

From kindergarten to college, Back to School Week brings many images of excitement and anticipation. Take a look below at photos from our Catholic schools as they welcomed back their students for another year of learning, faith, and fun.
