Cardinal Tobin says love is stronger than death in Easter message to the faithful
In a message to the faithful, Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R. said that “Easter confirms that love is stronger than death, that hope is more powerful than despair.”
And he reminds us that although our hearts are filled with rejoicing at Easter we must not forget the sorrows felt by so many especially those in Ukraine, the Holy Land, Haiti, and other troubled areas in our world.
“But we rejoice in the knowledge that the resurrection of Jesus has made it possible to hope for peace, to believe in a future that is better than the present difficulties, and to personally encounter the God who loves each of us unconditionally,” Cardinal Tobin said.
