From the Archives: Candlelight Procession for Our Lady of Fatima, 1960

On October 12, 1960, hundreds processed through the streets of Newark in a candlelight ceremony honoring Our Lady of Fatima. Parishioners and clergy carried the statue of Our Lady to the Newark parish that bears her name, commemorating the anniversary of her final apparition to the three shepherd children at Cova da Iria in 1917.
