Our Lady of the Cape Statue Visits Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Ridgewood, NJ

FreeWe are excited to welcome the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of the Cape to our parish on Monday, October 28. The statue is originally from the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape in Quebec—Canada’s National Shrine to the Blessed Mother. This special visit offers a wonderful opportunity to honor the Blessed Mother as we conclude the month of the Holy Rosary. Join us for a heartfelt liturgy beginning at 7PM in the church. Together, we will pray the rosary, sing uplifting Marian hymns, offer prayer intentions, and listen to an inspiring talk by Fr. Wedner Berard from the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. We will also participate in a candlelight procession. Candles will be available for purchase for $3 on the day of Mary’s visit, with proceeds supporting the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape. Additionally, free-will donations are always welcome to help spread devotion to Our Blessed Mother. Please mark your calendar. We look forward to coming together in prayer and celebration!
