Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Butler, NJ will be hosting a special concert by James Adler acclaimed pianist and composer. James is on the Faculty of Department of Arts and Saint Peter’s University, Jersey City, NJ. He will be joining by Flutist Denise Koncelik, and singer Michael Buchanan. Reception to follow.
Together they will be performing works by Performing music by JS Bach, Joplin, Mussorgsky, and James Adler’s own composition entitled “Beautiful Garden.”
“James Adler is a pianist who “can create whatever type of music he wants at the keyboard” (Chicago Sun-Times) and a composer who writes “with uncommon imagination” (Atlanta Journal-Constitution).
Awards- Silver Medal-Outstanding Achievement in the 2024 Global Music Awards in both the instrumentalist and album categories for his album Reflections”
